Title: (It doesn't have one yet)
Disclaimer: Buffy and the Buffyverse don't belong to me; if they did I would've made a few more seasons; the point is that Joss anabnch of others own them I'm just srwing around. Don't sue me cuz I ain't t no money!
Warnings (If any): There might be some mild torture later on...
Rating: PG-13ish
Synopsis: A myserious guy suddenly appears in Dawn's dreams. Buffy and company start losing thier sleep to nightmares all including the same guy... Who is the mystery man?
Feedback: Yea, it would be great if I could get some!
Author Notes: This is somthing I cooked up in my sleep after having a first season Charmed marathon... It's like a cross between Dream Sorcerror and Ghost of Alkatraz. Tell me if it sucks or not..... Plus I needed to use this part of the forum to teach the other mods how my system works. So... yay me!
The hulking grey demon slammed his prey against the outside wall of the vast warehouse, his fingers wraped around the red head's throat. Willow's mouth gaped, searching for oxygen as it was squeezed out of her and the demon smirked as he choked her life away.
Ther was a sudden flash of metal and Willow was now looking at Dawn's head where her former attacker's had been.
"Hey, Will, you okay?" the teen asked, pushing the now limp body of the grey demon next to his head.
Willow nodded as she gasped for the precious air she had missed just a minute ago.
"Cool, I need you to do that spell or else that evil warlock is gonna win."
"I-I can do that!" Willow said, bobbing her head in the affirmative
"Good, and Will?"
the witch looked up from wheer she had started to draw the cerimonial circle, "uh-huh?"
"Cast the shield before you start the spell. Can't have you getting ripped to peices before you finish it, can we?"
"Yeah! I can do that, geez, why didn't I think of that before?"
Dawn chuckled and jogged off, axe in hand, kicking the warehous door open and entering to survey the scene inside. Kennedy and Xander were already there fighting off four vampires. Well, one was fighting Xander, the other three were overpowing Kennedy.
"Hey," Dawn shouted, causeing the vampires to look up at her, "yeah, you big, ugly, and fangy ones! Why don't you pick on somone who isn't weaker than you!"
"Let me just say: Hey!" Xander said indignatly as he backed away from his vamp and got behing Dawn, "But, carry on!"
Kennedy also backed behind Dawn, whispering in her ear, yet still keeping her eyes on the four vamps who now had grouped together and were advancing menacingly on them, "D'you think we can take em?"
"Sure, just don't die, or Buffy'll kill me." With that the four vamps sprang at them, Xander managing to duck just in time as one sailed over his head in attempt to tackle the carpenter. Xander hurried to hide behind Kennedy who struck a defensive pose immediately, stake at the ready. Dawn took the initiative and delivered a side kick smartly into an oncoming vamp's chest, sending him flying backwards, she then swung her heel backward and into the jaw of the next vamp, using her momentum to swing her axe into his neck as he came up to counter attack.
Kennedy managed to stake hers as Dawn finished off the other two
"Okay, c'mon," Dawn said, hefting her axe to the other hand, "He should be holding Buffy in the next room according to the plans I found." the trio hurried to the other end of the warehouse to a door, Kennedy tried the knob
"Locked." she grunted, backing away as Dawn kicked it off its hinges
"Not anymore."
"Dawn!" Buffy cried, hurrying to get up from her crouched position on the floor, "You came! I knew you would!"
"Yeah, and Willow's doing the spell now so that warlock should be writhing on the ground right about now!"
"Oh, Dawn, you're the best!" Buffy said, throwing her arms around the teenager's shoulders.
Just then an alarm blared, "What's that?" Dawn asked, looking around in confusion, still in Buffy's embrace
"What's what?"
"That alarm, don't you hear it?"
"Silly Dawn, always joking!"
As Dawn protested that she really was hearing an alarm a silent figure skulked in the shadows, gazing on it awe, 'She's amazing.....'
Dawn's hand shot out from under the covers and slamed down on her alarm clock. The teen groaned and rolled over, stretching as she slowly opened her eyes.
"Why can't my alarm clock ever go off after everyone's done telling me I'm awesome?" she asked herself.
"Dawn, breakfast!" Buffy shouted up the stairs, "C'mon, if you don't get up you'll be late for school!"
Dawn groaned again. School, the hell she had thought she'd left behind...
"DAWN!"
The teenager sighed, sitting up in bed, "Sometimes I wonder if I should change my me to somthing less used..." she murmured as she streatched again and got up,shuffling down stairs and into what looked like a staff kitchen at a workplace. Slayers were everywhere, scarfing down breakfast food, some looking like they'd been out all night. They probably had, Faith must have taken them out for a class.
Willow was seated at the head the table, engrossed in her laptop as a wandering hand missed the sugar bowl by miles and she scooped grape jelly into her coffee. Kennedy, who was sitting next to her, roled her eyes and took the jelly away from the un-noting witch, so hypnotised was she by the computer screen.
"Hey, half pint, sleep well?" Kennedy asked as Dawn slid into a seat on Willow's other side so see what the redhead was so entranced in. Dawn blanched at hearing the nickname. It was absurd, as Dawn was almost half a foot taller than the slayer. 'Just because she's a slayer doesn't give her the right to call me short!' she thought angrily, instead of fuming at the brunette she smiled.
"Yes, I did," She replied cheerily, "I had the best dream." the teen didn't elaborate any further, she just reached for the toast plate, only to find that Kennedy was munching on the last slice. Dawn gave the slayer a dirty look, but the brunette only shrugged.
"Were ya dreamin' about boys?" Willow asked absently, eyes still glued to the computer screen.
"I bet she was." scoffed Kennedy, "Don't see why, what do they have to offer?" Dawn scowled at Kennedy as Willow took a sip of her coffee and nearly choked.
"Kenn, sweetie, what did you put in my coffee?" the witch asked, finally tearing her eyes away from the laptop.
"I didn't put anything in your coffee, Will." Kennedy replied, smiling sweetly but failing to make herself look innocent.
"Then why does my coffee taste like grape and hazlenut?"
"New flavor?"
Willow rolled her eyes, shoving the coffee mug at her girlfriend, "Then you drink it. I don't like this flavor." And the redhead turned back to her computer.
"What'cha workin' on?" Dawn queried, still trying to look at the screen.
"School stuff, really hard research for a paper I have to write for psyche." the witch explained
"Ooo, what's the paper on?"
"Eh, just somthing about dream interpretation."
